Brent Lakatos and Diane Roy win Para-athletics Track titles
Moncton, N.B. – Brent Lakatos of Dorval, Que., and Diane Roy of Sherbrooke, Que., won a pair of Para-athletics national titles on day two of the Canadian Track and Field Championships. Lakatos won gold in the wheelchair T53 200 and 1500-metres while Roy took gold in the women’s events bringing both of their total gold medal counts at these Championships to four. [Read more…]

Michelle Stilwell takes Gold
London, UK – Michelle Stilwell of Nanoose Bay, B.C., today won Canada’s second track and field and Canada’s eight medal overall at the 2012 Paralympic Games. Three World Records over a few days has earned T52 classification wheelchair racer Michelle Stilwell of Nanoose Bay, B.C., the title of BioSteel Top Performer of the Month for January 2012. While competing in the Summer Down Under series in Australia, Stilwell set new World Records in the 100, 200 and 400-metres.
